The and wide receiver agreed to a three-year, $50.25 million contract extension that includes $20 million guaranteed, keeping the former second-round pick in Green Bay beyond his rookie deal.

Reed was entering the final year of his four-year, $7,180,777 rookie contract, and the extension means he will not head toward unrestricted free agency in 2027. He was selected by Green Bay with the No. 50 overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Michigan State.

The deal arrives after a 2025 season in which Reed appeared in seven games and caught 19 passes on 22 targets for 207 yards and one touchdown. Even with that limited production, Green Bay moved to secure a player it considers an integral part of its offensive attack.

The structure also gives the Packers certainty at a position where Reed has been part of the team’s long-term plan since draft day. His rookie contract included a $2,222,383 signing bonus, and this extension now shifts the focus to what he can do over the next three seasons rather than what his market would have looked like in 2027.
