With two days left before the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, NFL.com projected Antonio Williams to the Atlanta Falcons with the No. 48 overall pick. The Clemson wide receiver has moved from a likely Day 3 name into the middle of Round 2, a rise that has changed the way teams are reading his board.
Williams, listed at 5-foot-11 and 187 pounds, backed up that climb at the scouting combine with a 4.41 forty-yard dash, a 39.5-inch vertical and a seven-second three-cone drill. In 43 career games at Clemson, he caught 208 passes for 2,336 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns, including an ACC-high 11 scores in the 2024 season.
The Falcons' second-round slot at No. 48 has been a target of speculation for wide receiver and nose tackle, and the latest projection keeps that focus on offense. Another mock draft from the previous day had Atlanta taking Georgia State's Ted Hurst at the same spot, underscoring how unsettled the pick remains. Williams was still being discussed as one of several Day 2 receivers who should be available when the Falcons are on the clock.
That matters because the board around Atlanta has tightened. Williams was expected to come off in Round 3 around No. 76 overall, and the Falcons were scheduled to pick again just three selections later. If the projection holds, Atlanta would not be waiting long to see whether it let one of the draft's fastest-rising receivers slip past it.
