Brock Rechsteiner signed with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday as an undrafted free agent, getting his NFL shot one day after the three-day draft ended without his name being called. The former Jacksonville State wide receiver is one of several newcomers who will try to make the roster by Week 1.
Rechsteiner finished his college career with 53 catches for 629 yards and seven touchdowns from 2023 to 2025, including 36 catches for 383 yards and five touchdowns in his final season with the Gamecocks. He now heads to Tennessee with the same uncertain path many undrafted players face: no draft-day guarantee, and a quick race to prove he belongs before the regular season starts.
The move adds another chapter to a family that already straddles football and wrestling. Brock and his brother Brandon signed NIL deals with WWE last year, while Brandon, a former Colorado State guard, averaged 12 points per game in the 2025-26 season before announcing he was transferring to Kansas State. Their father, Scott Steiner, and uncle Rick were tag team champions in pro wrestling and earned WWE Hall of Fame nods in 2022.
That wrestling link also runs through another branch of the family. Rick Steiner’s son, Bronson Rechsteiner, is known in WWE as Bron Breakker. Scott Steiner called himself a genetic freak and said he is ecstatic for his son to join the Titans, a reaction that fits a family that has long moved between stadiums and rings. The open question now is whether Brock can turn Sunday’s signing into a spot on the roster when Week 1 arrives.
