Pelicans center DeAndre Jordan won the 2025/2026 Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year award, taking 1,445 voting points to edge Jrue Holiday by eight points. Jordan received 66 first-place votes, 59 second-place votes, 46 third-place votes and 25 fifth-place votes in the annual balloting.
Holiday finished second with 1,437 points, collecting 39 first-place votes, 80 second-place votes, 61 third-place votes, 51 fourth-place votes and 29 fifth-place votes. Garrett Temple finished fourth with 1,223 points after drawing 46 first-place votes, 40 second-place votes, 63 third-place votes, 40 fourth-place votes and 48 fifth-place votes.
The award honors the league's best teammate based on selfless play, leadership and commitment to the team, and it is named for former Rochester/Cincinnati Royals players Jack Twyman and Maurice Stokes. Jordan's win ended a seven-year run in which the award went to a guard, a streak that began in the 2018-19 season and ran through the 2024-2025 season with Mike Conley, Holiday, Damian Lillard and Steph Curry taking the prize.
Jordan's selection also comes after a season in which he appeared in 22 regular-season games and averaged 0.8 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists while shooting 26.7 percent from the field, 25 percent from three and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line. The numbers did not help him on the floor, but they did not stop his peers from putting him first in the category meant to measure something harder to box into a box score: how much a player lifts everyone else around him.
