Tyrese Haliburton is taking time away from the court in the Turks and Caicos Islands with his family after the Indiana Pacers were eliminated from playoff contention. Jade Jones showed the getaway in an Instagram story with the caption “family vaca.”
The trip comes after a punishing season for Haliburton, a two-time All-Star whose torn Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals ended both his year and Indiana’s championship run. He was hurt with five minutes left in the first quarter, a blow that also cut short the Pacers’ best chance at a title.
Haliburton and Jones began dating in 2019, when she was a cheerleader at Iowa State University and he played there. Their vacation now offers a brief pause after months in which Haliburton has dealt with physical and mental stress, while Indiana waits on the guard it still builds around.
The Pacers are moving into the next phase with Haliburton still central to their plans. The team is focused on developing young talent and positioning itself for a high draft pick, even as it expects his comeback to shape the franchise’s stronger future.
