A range of land development opportunities is being marketed across Helensburgh and Lomond, with eight sites currently advertised on . The listings include options for residential development, bespoke homes, woodland investment and mixed-use potential.

One of the standout plots is a prime serviced site on the shore road through Helensburgh that is believed to be among the last remaining development opportunities there. It has uninterrupted views across the Firth of Clyde, all mains services available and detailed planning consent already in place for a large four-bedroom detached villa with a detached double garage.

Another plot, at Dalarne in Rhu, forms part of a very rarely available parcel of land within the leafy private grounds of a Victorian villa. The site extends to about 1,825 sq metres, or roughly half an acre, and has views towards the Gare Loch and the Firth of Clyde. It also carries full planning permission for a four-bedroom detached home with an integral garage and a balcony.

A third parcel, on Rosneath Road in Rahane, is being presented as an exceptional and rare opportunity on the Rosneath peninsula. The elevated site overlooks the Gare Loch, has uninterrupted panoramic views towards Helensburgh and offers complete privacy.

The spread of plots runs across Helensburgh, Rhu, Luss, Shandon, Rahane, Kilcreggan and Garelochhead, with planning permission already secured on at least two of the sites. That makes this less a story about a completed sale than a snapshot of how limited land opportunities in the area are being brought to market now, with buyers being asked to weigh location, view and planning status rather than start from scratch.

The sharpest question is how many of these plots will move while permissions are already in place. In a market where ready-to-build land is scarce, the sites with consent and clear views are likely to draw the strongest attention first.
