Daisy Edgar-Jones returned to the Met Gala on this evening, wearing a McQueen dress and Boucheron jewelry for the art-themed event. The actor chose a softer, more romantic look, finishing it with Laurier pendant earrings from Boucheron’s Histoire de Style, Untamed Nature High Jewelry collection, paved with diamonds on white gold, plus diamond and pearl rings.
It was her third time at the Met Gala. Edgar-Jones made her debut in 2022 and came back in 2023, making this year’s appearance a familiar stop in a schedule that is getting fuller by the month.
The pace will only pick up from here. She is set to star as Elinor Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility this fall from Focus Features, and will also appear with Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson in Here Comes the Flood, an upcoming heist film directed by Fernando Meirelles for Netflix. She is attached to A Place in Hell with Michelle Williams and Andrew Scott, and a film adaptation of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow has also been announced, though no release date has been set.
That mix of projects fits the arc Edgar-Jones has described in past comments about wanting women at the center of stories and characters with agency, complication and depth. The Met Gala look matched that same instinct: polished, feminine and deliberate, but not loud. For now, the answer to how busy her year looks is plain enough. It is already crowded, and it is about to get busier.
