Nintendo has announced a new Switch 2 Pokémon Pokopia bundle, with release set for June 5 in Australia and New Zealand. The package pairs a standard Switch 2 console with a digital download for Pokémon Pokopia, the latest move in a run of bundles built around one of the system’s most talked-about games.
The company has not confirmed pricing for the Switch 2 and Pokémon Pokopia bundle, leaving one of the biggest details still open. That matters because Pokémon Pokopia has already been described as a console seller for the Switch 2 since launch, and fans had been waiting to see whether Nintendo would answer that demand with a special edition console rather than another plain release.
For now, it is not a special design. Prior Switch 2 bundles have included a standard black console, and this one appears to follow the same formula. Nintendo has a history of releasing special edition consoles, which is why some buyers were expecting something more distinctive this time.
The digital-only game download is also likely to disappoint players who prefer physical copies. A Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundle released late last year was priced at around $500 USD, giving fans a rough comparison point even though Nintendo has not confirmed what this new bundle will cost.
So the answer is simple: the Pokémon Pokopia bundle is real, but only in Australia and New Zealand for now, and it arrives on June 5 without a confirmed price or a special console design. If Nintendo expands it elsewhere, or adds a physical edition later, that would be the next development buyers are watching for.
