’s postponed April 14 concert at The Prudential Center in Newark has a new date: June 26. Manilow announced the change on social media, but the updated date was not yet listed on the Prudential Center website, pages or barrymanilow.com when the information was checked.

A message on Ticketmaster’s page for the original show told fans to hold on to their tickets because they will be valid for the new date. The Newark stop is billed as “,” part of what Manilow is calling his farewell show, and it now lands just after his 83rd birthday on June 17.

The timing gives the rescheduled concert extra weight. Manilow is currently set to resume appearances May 7 at The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and he plans to release a new album, , on June 5. That would be his first collection of all-new, original studio material since 2011’s 15 Minutes.

The Newark change also comes after a difficult stretch for the singer. In December, Manilow said he had undergone surgery to remove a cancerous spot on his lung and canceled shows because of it. In a March interview with People, he said he was cancer-free. Earlier postponements were also tied to doctor’s orders, including a separate April 13 UBS show, underscoring how closely fans have been watching each new date as the farewell run takes shape.

For now, the answer to the question hanging over the Newark concert is straightforward: the show is still on, the tickets still count, and June 26 is the date Manilow is asking his audience to mark.
