The disagreement comes after years in which Paltrow and Martin were known for an unusually calm co-parenting relationship. Now, sources say, their views on Apple’s next step are diverging. One source close to the family said the issue matters because it is one of the first times their perspectives have not naturally aligned and it centers on something deeply personal: their daughter’s future and the exposure that could come with it. Paltrow, 53, is said to be excited about supporting Apple’s ambitions and helping open doors for her. Martin, 49, is said to want to shield her from the downsides of public attention.
