Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are edging closer to their wedding day, and the guest list is getting smaller. The couple has reportedly decided to scale back their plans, with the current estimate pointing to roughly 150 guests.
Zoë Kravitz is expected to attend, according to people familiar with the plans, and Swift has already dismissed claims that the two women had fallen out. Their friendship stretches back to the pandemic in London, when Kravitz told GQ, “She was my pod,” and Swift praised her “very honest inner compass.”
The trim-down marks a shift from the kind of star-packed celebration many fans expected from one of pop’s biggest names and an NFL standout. A source told Us Weekly, “They’ve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private,” a description that fits a couple trying to balance celebrity scale with a wedding they can control.
That tension shows up most clearly in the names already being floated for the invite list. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Emma Stone are among the familiar faces expected to attend, along with Patrick Mahomes from Kelce’s NFL circle. Blake Lively, despite a long friendship with Swift dating to 2015 and a relationship that included Swift becoming godmother to Lively’s children, has not appeared in confirmed guest reports, and there is no confirmation that an invitation has been sent.
Reports suggested strain emerged in 2025 after Swift was drawn into a legal situation involving actor Justin Baldoni, but that has not been confirmed as the reason for any wedding-list changes. What is clear is that Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025, and Swift later said of Kelce’s proposal that “he went all out... 10 out of 10.” The wedding now appears headed toward a tighter, more private guest list rather than the full celebrity spectacle many had anticipated.
For Swift and Kelce, the next step is not whether the wedding happens but who gets to be in the room when it does.
