The controversy began on April 7, when photos were published showing Mike Vrabel and Russini linking hands and sharing a hot tub at an Arizona resort one month earlier. Vrabel called those images “a completely innocent interaction” and said any other reading was “laughable.” Russini said the photos did not reflect the group of six people who had been together that day.
