will air a 30-minute special look at Stranger Than Heaven on Wednesday, May 6, giving the action-adventure game from its most substantial showing yet. The broadcast begins at 4 p.m. Pacific and 7 p.m. Eastern, with a UK start time of 12 a.m. on May 7.

The showcase is set to focus on the game’s story, world, characters and more, with Xbox saying it will offer the deepest look so far at Stranger Than Heaven. That matters because the game was only revealed in March at , and the new presentation will be the first extended chance to see how its premise is taking shape.

Stranger Than Heaven is built around a 50-year story that spans five distinct eras of modern Japan and five entirely separate cities. That scale gives the project a different feel from a standard action game reveal and places the spotlight on how RGG Studio plans to connect setting, character and time across such a wide stretch of history.

The tension now is not over whether Xbox will show the game, but how much it is willing to give away. The company has already said the full show will be available in Japanese on the , with live subtitle support in Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish from Spain and Spanish for Mexico. After the show, additional subtitle support will be added for Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Filipino, French Canadian, Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Māori, Persian, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. An English audio-described version will also be posted on the , and American Sign Language and Japanese Sign Language options will be available as well.

The recap will be published immediately after the show ends, which should leave little time for the game’s first major deep dive to settle before the next round of discussion begins. Stranger Than Heaven is coming soon to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud, and it will launch as an Xbox Play Anywhere title available with .
